Document Description
A proposal to install a pedestrian crossing for the Gray Whale Cove State Beach in order to improve pedestrian safety for beach users. Project elements include the addition of a pedestrian crosswalk on Highway 1; pedestrian hybrid beacons; widening pavement for the addition of a left turn lane and an acceleration lane; relocation and improvement of the parking lot entrance; as well as installation of associated overhead lighting's, overhead signs and roadside signs.
