Document Description
This Project involves the development of a two-story 6,800-square foot primary residence with an attached three-car garage, a separate single-story 800-square foot accessory dwelling unit, patios, walkways, terraces, retaining walls, planters, a vegetated guest parking area, utility infrastructure, and driveway within 8.0 acres (7.9 acres is undeveloped land and 0.1 acre is developed (existing paved roadway)). Major Amendment No.1 makes the following specific changes to the ITP: modifies the Project Description to include a new water pipeline connection alignment that will result in a 0.4-acre increase in temporary impacts; recalculates the impacts of the Project based on the revised Project Description; revises Conditions of Approval 6.6 and 7.20 to reflect the 0.4-acre increase in temporary impacts; and modifies the requirements of Conditions of Approval 6.7, 7.4, and 7.10 within the driveway and water pipeline connection alignment portions of the Project. The Project will result in impacts to 7.9 acres of California tiger salamander (Ambystoma californiense) habitat including temporary impacts to 5.2 acres; the Project will permanently remove 2.7 acres of California tiger salamander habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of California tiger salamander, which is designated as a threatened species under the California Endangered Species Act (CESA). The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
