Document Description
Remove degraded interpretive panels and install new ADA compliant interpretive panels along the Lakeside Interpretive Trail at Donner Memorial State Park to reestablish cultural and natural history interpretive elements. Work will : • Use hand and power tools to remove ten (10) existing panels ; • Dispose/recycle all existing panels , metal stands , and anchor material; • Where possible re-use existing holes from removed panel sites for the new panels ; • Fill non-reusable holes with native soil and cover with needle cast to blend with surrounding area ; • Use hand and power tools to excavate up to twelve (12) 24 " deep by 6 " wide by 6" long holes; • Install six (6) new metal stands, anchor with cement; and cover with existing native soil; • Use tamper-free hardware and trim any extending bolts; and • Ensure that all disturbed areas are rehabilitated.
