The California Department of Transportation, using state funds, is proposing an overlay project on State Route 139 post mile 43.0 to post mile 53.0 in Lassen county. This project is needed because the existing pavement is in poor condition. The purpose of the project is to extend the life of the pavement and provide a safer, more comfortable ride.
