Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to replace the roofs of the vending machine buildings on the Northbound (NB) and Southbound (SB) sides of the Enoch Chistofferson Safety Roadside Rest Area. The rest area is located in Stanislaus County on SR 99 at postmile R0.1/R0.5, near the City of Turlock. The scope of the work includes but is not limited to: replacing roof with large machinery; working off the paved roadway; no vegetation removal; work will require heavy machinery to be on paved side walks and maintained grassy areas; and no work will be completed in seasonally wet areas, drainages or areas of standing water or flooding.
