Maintain the existing highway. Caltrans proposes to replace existing PCC panels within the lanes that show distress and potential failure in Kern County on I 5 and SR 99. On I 5 work will be done on the SB lane (number 3 & 4) at PM 4.4 to 10.2 and on SR 99 work will be done on NB lane (number 3) at PM 44.3-49.3.
