Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0171-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Ken Hiatt representing the City of Woodland. The project proposes to enhance a 22-acre pond by re-contouring the basin to provide for greater habitat diversity. The pond will be fitted with an inlet pipe from a new groundwater well and an outlet drain for wetland management. An ADA accessible concrete pedestrian path will be constructed around a portion of the pond and will include a 50-foot bridge over a tributary swale. The pond will be further enhanced by installing approximately 1,000 native trees and shrubs and 3 acres of native grassland.

Class 4 (b) because the.project includes new landscaping with native plants; Class 4 (c) because the project includes the filling of earth into previously excavated land with material compatible with the natural features of the site; Class 4 (f) because the project includes minor trenching and back-filling where the surface will be restored.
