Document Description
This project includes a construction of 2 small recharge basins as a pilot project located east and south of the town of Planada. The first basin is outside of MID boundaries near the intersection of MID's Le Grand Canal and Miles Creek The second basin ls located within the MID boundary, south of Mariposa Creek and east of Plainsburg Road. The pilot project basins would be approximately 1 acre each in size, as well as conveyance facilities as needed, and at least one monitoring well for each basin. The expectation is that the project will identify opportunities for local GSAs to consider further recharge projects in the vicinity.
