The SWRCB's Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Program is providing funds for the Project. The Burney Water District proposes to conduct a planning Project to prepare draft plans and specifications, environmental documents, and perform other planning studies in anticipation of a future construction project to establish an additional water source. One pilot well will be drilled, and aquifer test pumps will be performed.

Information Collection, Planning, Monitoring and Sample Collection REASON WHY PROJECT IS EXEMPT: The Project consists of feasibility and planning studies, and will not have a significant effect on the environment. The Project has been determined to meet the requirements of the Categorical and Statutory Exemptions selected above Pursuant to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) Code, Section 711.4(d)(1 ), the CDFW environmental review filing fees do not apply.
