Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Stream bed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2:016--0412-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the flsh and Game Code to Mr. Utah Blue. The project is limited to two encroachments. One encroachment is for water diversion from unnamed tributaries spring to Four Mile Creek. Water is diverted for domestic use. Work for the water .diversion will include use and maintenance of the water diversion infrastructure. Water for irrigation is stored in a newly constructed off pond. The other proposed encroachment would remove stockpiled tree stumps from· the head of a Class in stream (40'1878 N, 1.24;0697 W). Work for this encroachment will include removal of the stumps, re-contouring of the slope, soil stabilization,. and erosion control as needed to minimize sediment delivery.

The project proposes to divert water for domestic use! and remove stumps and fill from the head of a Class Ill stream. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. The.re are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project win not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of. past projects,. the-effects of other current. projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
