Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration
Agreement number 1600"'.2018".'0247 -R41 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Southern California Edison following two separate events which triggered two emergency Notifications 1610-2017-0273 .. R4 and 1610-2018-0152-R4. The Project includes activities related to the permanent fix by replacement of the protective concrete spillway channel over the 13-foot-diameter Mammoth Pool Powerhouse Tunnel (Flowline) pipe with a new spillway including riprap energy dissipater pads on Shakeflat Creek upstream and downstream of the spillway and cleanup of the site including the water diversion installed during the response to the two emergency Notifications listed above.

The Project includes the maintenance of an existing facility of a publicly-owned
utility used to provide electric power, natural gas, sewerage, or other public utility services with no expansion of use. The Project will not have significant environmental impacts if it is completed under the protective features of Stream bed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2018-024 7-R4.
