Document Description
The project is limited to the repair of a section of a cement wall that has developed cracking and is associated with a fish ladder in San Pedro Creek near Capistrano Drive. Project activities include reinforcing the existing concrete structure with helix horizontal anchors tied into the bank behind the wall and spraying the wall
with concrete (shotcrete). The anchors will be installed from above the wall and directly below the wall is a concrete trough which will catch and contain all material and debris. Sandbags and silt fencing will be placed at the downstream end of the fish ladder and concrete basin to prevent debris from going into the creek. The creek will be covered with plywood to prevent shotcrete overspray from directly entering the creek.
