Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife as executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0079-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Schaefer Price. The project is limited to the construction of a permanent spillway structure at the outlet of the existing pond. The outlet will be constructed of an approximately 350 square foot concrete structure with grouted rock aprons that will be approximately 300 square feet each and will be located in the immediate area of the existing outlet of the pond. The project will include excavation of the spillway area for the purpose of keying the spillway into competent soil, forming and pouring a spillway structure and restoration of the disturbed area. The work will be conducted during the late summer months when the level of the pond decreases to below the spillway area to avoid having to work within a wetted channel. The project will not include any vegetation removal. All work will be done in the footprint of the existing outfall. The existing outfall footprint is devoid of vegetation.
