The purpose of the Project is to replace, or repair 10 of 21 stream crossing structures damaged during a flow event. Activities include grading, sediment removal, and the replacement of three culverts and the installation of four additional culverts. During and after construction is completed, the contractor will de-compact and re-contour temporary access areas to pre-construction grade and assist in plant reestablishment.
The Project is located 7 miles west of the community of Mojave and can be accessed via Oak Creek Road approximately 1 mile east of the intersection of Tehachapi-Willow Springs Road in Kern County.
