Document Description
The Project includes construction of a production well to replace an existing offline well on the same parcel. The new well will be capable of producing approximately 1,000 gallons per minute and includes above and below-ground associated infrastructure. New pipeline improvements would be constructed in needed areas identified by a 2016 infrastructure study. Additional improvements include two new intertie connections to the existing City of Madera water distribution system, upsizing of one section of pipe, looping, 2,200 feet of pipe at the southern end of the service area, and new water meters at all 506 service connections. The Project also includes a six-inch thick, 20 feet long by 12 feet wide, concrete slab, pumps, a fence, and a backup power generator.
