Document Description
The proposed project includes improvements to the City's wastewater collection system that are required to resolve existing deficiencies and capacity restrictions, and improve access for ongoing maintenance. Improvements include replacing the force main between Lift Station 3 (LS3) and the WWTP headworks. A segment of the force main from LS5 would be replaced in Pine Grove Ave. Both force mains would be mounted to the side of the Pine Grove Ave. bridge over Churn Creek, and then proceed south to the WWTP through City-owned undeveloped property. Flow regulation improvements would be made within the LS5 diversion manhole, and a ±20-foot segment of the sewer line exiting the diversion manhole would be replaced . A segment of the sewer line in and adjacent to the LS5 overflow manhole would also be replaced.
