Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is the Lead Agency for the Project. The State Water Board’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program is financing the Project. The Project will replace 5,550 feet of existing 4-inch steel transmissions lines with 6-inch PVC lines. Additionally, two dead-ends in the transmission system will be connected to existing junctions with 2,550 feet of new pipes to create a fully looped pipe network. The primary objective of the proposed project is to replace the aging 2-inch and 4-inch steel and PVC pipes which are prone to breaking and leaks with new 6-inch capacity PVC or HOPE pipe, new gate valves, fire hydrants, water meters, and water service connections which would result in continued service to water system customers and all fire hydrants meeting fire flow requirements (1,000gpm).
