Document Description
Note: Review Per Lead
The proposed facility would include a 12-foot wide two-way, left turn lane, with two 11-foot wide through lanes and Class II, five-foot wide bicycle lanes in each direction. Six-foot wide sidewalks winding through an eight-foot wide right-of-way with plantings are proposed on both sides to accommodate pedestrian traffic. Five new mainline crosswalks and three new side road crosswalks are proposed. Three median islands are included for pedestrian refuges at crosswalk locations. The median islands would be rolled-curb, low profile (mountable for emergency vehicles), and hardscaped. All sidewalk ramps and features would conform to ADA Standards. A radar feedback speed sign would be placed facing southbound traffic at PM 0.94, immediately south of the intersection with Ocean Avenue, at the bottom of the hill.
