The Proposed Project includes demolishing and removing the existing structures and replacing them with structures that are able to handle the increased capacity. This will eliminate the bottleneck in the water distribution system. The proposed project is located approximately 2.5-miles south of the community ofTranquillity and three miles west of the community of San Joaquin in western Fresno County, California. The proposed five-acre work area is centered on the Slough Canal near the intersection of West Parlier Avenue and South Sonoma Avenue.
