Document Description
UC San Diego plans to conduct geotechnical explorations (e.g., borings and test pits) within its Hillcrest campus to determine depth of bedrock and other geotechnical properties needed to inform future/planned project design and cost. Some non-native vegetation grubbing and trimming will be required, a biological monitor will survey for nests prior to any vegetation removal and will monitor all activities to ensure no errant impacts to biological resources occur. Any removed vegetation will be replaced following the study.
