Document Description
Catholic Cemetery in Shasta State Historic Park to restore this historic cemetery to pre-fire conditions. The project work will be split into three (3) phases and will include:
• Dry Cleaning: Use specific latex sponges to remove loose surface soot;
• Additional Cleaning: After further testing, use more aggressive cleaning methods other than dry cleaning to remove additional soot and other debris; and
• Physical Repairs: As needed, mend broken stone, reset loose stones in retaining walls and treat the active corrosion on the iron fences.
