Document Description
The scope of work comprises pavement resurfacing methods with a slurry seal- Asphalt-Rubber Aggregate Membrane (ARAM), which is a 3/8-inch rubberized membrane comprised California scrap tire rubber and tires with a high natural rubber. The slurry seal would replace existing asphalt in varying thicknesses (2" to 5").

Staff determined that the proposed Project qualifies for Article 19. Categorically Exempt - Section 15301 (Class 1) - Operation, repair, maintenance, etc. of existing streets,sidewalks and similar facilities, which is in accordance with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 and the CEQA Guidelines, as amended. The Project does not involve expansion of use.
