Document Description
The District proposes to redevelop the existing Wedgeworth ES serving 600 students in K-5 grades to an expanded K-8 school serving 1,200 students. The existing elementary school site encompasses 20 acres, and the District would develop a 10-acre portion as a K-8 school, and allow development of up to 160 residential units on the remaining 10-acrein the future. Development of four replacement ballfields on two existing school sites is also proposed as mitigaiton to reduce recreation impacts. The RDEIR also evaluates impacts from these replacement fields.
