Reasons for Exemption
Class 3 - New Construction of Small Structures. The project is removal of an existing private structure, and construction of a floating structure that will be secured with anchors. No littoral vegetation will be removed. The Lake County Community Development Department has determined that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment and is, therefore, exempt from the provisions of CEQA. The project will not result in significant adverse environmental effects to wetlands or riparian habitats.
