Document Description
During the spring runoff of 2017, approximately 500 feet of road were damaged. The road provides access to the Onion Valley Campground and Kearsarge Pass and Golden Trout Lake Trail heads. Repairing the road will improve safety by allowing two way traffic, and minimize the potential for future washouts.

The project is exempt under CEQA Section 15301 Class 2- Replacement or Reconstruction, which states "replacement or reconstruction of existing facilities where the new structure will be located at the same site as the structure replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity", Work and staging for this project will only occur within the roadway and pull outs.
