At the close of each irrigation season in the fall, the District's inlet channels typically fill with sediment. As part of the District's routine maintenance of the channels, it needs to clean these channels so that water can reach the District's pumps and the District can distribute this water to its customers. Rock will also be placed on the upstream portion of the levee/rock dam to replace rock washed away during high water.
