Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Stream bed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0316-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Vincent Gin/Santa Clara Valley Water District (Valley Water). The Project involves the installation and removal of a VAKI River watcher fish counter (VAKI) at the upstream end of the Fremont fish ladder and a computer housing on concrete pad above the top of the creek bank. The VAKI is designed to digitally record the number, timing , and size of steel head (Oncorhynchus mykiss) migrating through the ladder in support of the Permittee's Fisheries and Aquatic Habitat Collaborative Effort (FAHCE) program .
