Document Description
Use Permit UP01-19 to allow for the construction of a 58-feet tall broadleaf cell tower at 14020 Eastlake Drive. The tower will include: (12) 6' panel antennas, (3) RRH Units, (6) RRUS32 with outdoor equipment cabinets, (4) surge suppressors, (1) battery cabinet, and 1(48) volt cabinet. The project will be surrounded by a 6' tall chain link fence and will not have a backup generator. On June 18, 2019 the City of Clearlake Planning Commission agreed with staffs recommendation to exempt the project from CEQA.

By definition of CEQA Section 15303 (D) Class 3 exemption, consists of "water mains, sewage, electrical gas, and other utility extensions, including street improvements of reasonable length to serve such construction. Given the location, scope, and non-intrusive design of this project, the City of Clearlake has determined that this project does not present any significant impacts to the environment.
