Document Description
CREH proposes to upgrade electrical facilities at the existing 10H well pad located in Buena Vista Nose Oilfield; Tier 2, all activities to be located within the established footprint of the 10H well pad. Project details: install two concrete slabs to set transformers and switchboards; electrical work also required on two existing electrical pads. Kern County civil and electrical permits required for the proposed new facilities and to re-purpose electrical infrastructure on two existing facilities. Electrical upgrades will support existing and future wells. CREH will remove diesel generators after well pad has been electrified. The proposed new electrical pads will be 10 ft by 22 ft each, (for a total of 0.010 acre) located on the existing, previously disturbed 10H well pad. Electrical pads will be elevated 2 feet to comply with flood zone permitting.
