Document Description
The purpose of this work is to evaluate the Castaic Stream Release Chute (SRC) and underlying foundation materials to develop recommendations for repair . DWR will power wash SRC concrete slabs and walls, and core at approximately 22 locations along the invert slabs and walls. Core holes will subsequently be repaired.

The State Water Project provides significant and important services to many Californians. This project is exempt because it involves minor repairs to an existing dam appurtenant structure. This project will not result in impacts to special status species or habitat, cultural resources, or any other resource areas. As such, the Categorical Exemption Class 1 will be used for CEQA compliance.
