Document Description
High flows and heavy debris in South Fork Battle Creek during a December 2014 storm event caused severe erosion to the bank upstream of and around the left abutment of the lnskip Diversion Dam. Subsequent inspections identified erosion at the toe of the dam, loss of stone mortar along the face of the dam, and large voids/undercutting of the rocks downstream. In 2016, much of the damage was repaired, but erosion to the toe of the dam beneath the radial gate was found to be more extensive and requires a more robust repair.
