Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0077-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Napa County Department of Public Works. The purpose of the project is to remove the concrete headwall on the upstream side of the existing box culvert, which was damaged during the 2014 earthquake, and replace it with a reinforced concrete retaining wall of approximately the same dimensions as the existing concrete headwall. The retaining wall will be supported on 18-inch cast-in-drilled hole piles that will be dowelled to the existing culvert. Additionally, approximately 4 cubic yards of rock rip rap will be permanently removed from the streambank in order to drill the piles.
