Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0253-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to MHC DeAnza Santa Cruz, L.P. The Santa Cruz De Anza ponds is a series of three artificially constructed ponds located within a 26-acre residential mobile home subdivision in the County of Santa Cruz. The ponds were designed to flow through an engineered spillway into the Pacific Ocean. After winter storm damaged occurred at the ponds, a 1973 California Coastal Commission development permit was obtained to cover repair of the ponds, however, many of the permit objectives were not completed. The proposed project will repair the ponds and landscaping surrounding the ponds to comply with the 1973 California Coastal Commission development permit.
