Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife ls executing a Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0053-R6, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, represented by Mr. Clarence Martin, 300 Mandich Street, Bishop, CA 93514 (Permittee). The McNally Headgate Replacement project (Project) includes the replacement and extension of the existing McNally headgate and wing-wall on the Owens River. Access to work areas will occur along existing disturbed areas. Equipment staging and maintenance areas will be located on existing disturbed areas, nesting bird surveys will be implemented prior to any vegetation disturbance; any entrained fish will be returned to the mainstream stream The Project will result in no permanent impacts to CDFW jurisdictional areas. It may result in temporary impacts of less than 0.037 acres feet at each location
