Document Description
This project will install three solar photovoltaic energy systems for five existing on-site electric irrigation pumps at an existing agriculture operation. The ground-mounted solar arrays will be on approximately . 5-acre total. Solar system # 1 will be 48.3 kilowatts (kW) located at 5740 Boston Ave, near the northeast corner of Boston Ave and 6th Ave. Solar system #2 will be 33.6 kW located at 6017 Boston Ave, near the southwest comer of Boston Ave and 6th Ave. Solar system #3 will be 45.1 kW located at 6190 N 6th Ave near the southwest corner of the farm. Installation of the arrays will require some minor trenching and grading. No drilling, welding or heavy equipment will be required. A small number of crop trees will be relocated and perimeter fencing will be installed for safety.
