Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0014-R4, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Merced Irrigation District. The Project involves activities related to one-time construction rock diversion dams in the Merced River at the heads of three existing diversion ditches. Dam installation will result in backing up water and guiding flow into the diversion ditches.

The Project will occur at three (3) locations in and adjacent to the Merced River near the community of Snelling, in Merced County. The locations are related to the rock diversions to the Ditch 2 Cuneo Ditch, Ditch 4 Cook & Dale Ditch, and Ditch 6 Cowell Ditch.
