The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0106-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mr. Aaron Heister. The project is limited to the diversion of water from Barker Creek from an existing seep well located on the west bank of Barker Creek for domestic purposes, landscape irrigation, and fire protection.

Reasons for Exemption
This project is limited to the permitting, operation of, and limited maintenance of an existing seep well. There will be no increase in the amount of water currently diverted, or the duration of diversion. The seep well will be operated in conformance with measures as outlined in the executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement, will not result in a significant adverse impact on endangered, rare, or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects! the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
