Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018~0470-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Mr. Tyler Franklin. The project is limited to upgrading an existing rock armored, the abandonment and rehabilitation of a legacy stream crossing, the abandonment of two existing culvert stream crossings on unnamed tributaries to Fulton Gulch and the abandonment of an existing culvert stream crossing on Fulton Gulch.

Reasons for Exemption
This project is in response to a Notice of Violation issued by the Department of Fish and Wildlife and limited to the restoration of existing watercourse crossings to limit sedimentation of Fulton Gulch and tributaries thereto. Restoration activities will be conducted in conformance with measures as outlined in the executed Streambed Alteration Agreement, will not result in a significant adverse impact on endangered, rare, or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 150651 and no hazardous materials will be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, or the effects of probable future projects.
