Document Description
This project targets the reduction of water and energy use in California's dairy industry. The objective is to demonstrate on a pilot scale, two innovative approaches to cooling dairy cattle in California: 1) Conduction cooling combined with a sub wet bulb evaporative chiller and 2) Targeted convection cooling using direct evaporative cooling technology. In addition to evaluating water and energy consumption of the technology, this project will research methods to accelerate market adoption of the technology.
