Document Description
This project proposes the installation of a potable water treatment system at Puerta La Cruz Camp. The treatment system will be located adjacent to existing well CDF-2 and pressure pump house and will include, replacement of in well pipe on existing well CDF-1 and installation of in well pump monitors on both existing wells. Completion of this project will require;
1. Placement of a 12-foot long by 10-foot wide 12-inch thick concrete pad requiring minor leveling of grade and setting of
form boards and placement of steel rebar.
2. Placement of two water treatment tanks 4-feet in diameter by 6-feet in height on this pad.
3. Installation of approximately 20-feet of above ground interconnection galvanized piping.
4. Installation of 6-foot high chain-link fence with three access gates approximately 50-feet by 35-feet in length. Fencing will require digging of 24, 6-inch wide by 24-inch deep post holes and placement of 24, 2-inch galvanized posts in concrete, erection of chain-link fence and access gates.
5. Removal, inspection and possible replacement of existing well CDF-1 in well piping.
6. Installation of pump flow monitors and differential switches on both existing wells.
The Puerta La Cruz Conservation Camp is located at 32363 Highway 79, Warner Springs, California, approximately 30 miles southeast of Temecula and approximately 4 miles northwest of the small community of Warner Springs. There are isolated
residences and ranches scattered throughout the area.
