Document Description
The project consists of the construction of a logistics warehouse facility of approximately 332,996 square feet on an approximately 15.21 acre site. The project includes a General Plan Amendment and a Zone change from Medium-Density Residential (R-M) and Multi-Family High Density Residential (R-MFH) to Light Industrial (I-L). Additionally, the project includes a General Plan Amendment and Zone Change for two (2) residential sites, referred to as the Malaga Site (approximately 5.69 acres) and the Palmetto Site (approximately 3.58 acres), as required by the recent adoption of Senate Bill (SB) 330. SB330 requires replacement housing sites when land designated for housing development is changed to a non-housing use. the General Plan Amendment and Zone Change for the Malaga Site and Palmetto Site will relocate the potential of 219 dwelling units from the Sierra and Casa Grande Warehouse site to the RUR sites. There is no development proposed for either RUR site at this time.
