Reasons for Exemption
Project consists of repair and minor upgrade to an existing trail facility involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency's determination, the replacement or reconstruction of existing structures and facilities where the new structure will be located on the same site as the structure replaced; the construction and location of a limited number of new small facilities or structures; and the minor public alterations in the condition of land and vegetation which does not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees, included as "Modifications of existing facilities for disabled access", "Trail or road repairs", and Construction or installation of interpretive signing or panels" in the Department of Park and Recreation's list of exempt activities in accordance with CCR §15300.4
