The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), pursuant to authority granted under California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 4.51 Chapter 201 Section 66270.61, has issued an Emergency Permit to World Oil Environmental services (EPA ID# CAD028277036) to transfer hazardous waste from a tanker truck into another truck and/or containers. Reasons for Exemption
This action is necessary to prevent an emergency. Transfer of the ignitable hazardous waste to an approved truck and/or container from a truck that does not meet standards is necessary prior to transportation of an ignitable hazardous waste to a permitted treatment, storage, and disposal facility to prevent accidental ignition and/or fire during transport and ensure safety of the public.
