Document Description
A Right of Entry permit will be issued to SDG&E. SDG&E proposes to cut and cap a section of buried 4-inch gas line in Cardiff. The line parallels Highway 101, adjacent to the Seaside day use parking lot of Cardiff State Beach. The gas line is outside of the Park but the work areas will encroach. A 25-foot section will be removed to prevent tripping hazard, the rest will be abandoned in place. A new gas line will be rerouted under Highway 101.

The action falls under the Departmental List of Exempt activities according to CEQA §15300.4 as "Minor trenching and backfilling where the surface is restored " and "Issuance of easements and permits ."
