Document Description
OWR's San Luis Field Division (SLFD) will repair erosion's on both sides of Reach 7. The erosion's will be back filled with the eroded material remaining at each site. If more fill is required, it will be imported from existing SLFD borrow sites. Once back-filled, each site will be compacted either by using a sheepsfoot roller attachment or by using a tamper. After compacting, the embankments will be re~contoured. This work occurs annually. State Water Project Contractors will benefit.

The northernmost erosion site is MP 155.75L, which is about 1.7 miles northeast of the City of Huron; the southernmost site is about 0.5 miles west of Kettleman City. The northernmost borrow site is approximately 2.37 miles east and 2.53 miles south of the intersection of Highway 269 and Highway 198; the southernmost borrow site is approximately 2.44 miles east and 1.22 miles north of the intersection of Highway 269 and Interstate 5.
