The County is proposing to replace the existing single-lane bridge along CR521 over the Middle Fork of the Feather River. The proposed bridge is anticipated to be two spans and carry one lane of traffic in each direction. The bridge replacement is needed to improve public safety. The need is based on the, most current Caltrans Maintenance Report, which indicates that the existing bridge is "Structurally Deficient".
The bridge is located in Plumas County on Blairsden Graeagle Road (County Road 521 ), where it crosses the Middle Fork of the Feather River, approximately .25 miles east of the town of Blairsden in Section 10, T22N, R12E.
