Document Description
The Project involves construction and operation of an approximately 220 megawatt photovoltaic (PV) solar energy generation facility with up to 4 gigawatt hours of energy storage on approximately 1,218 acres. The Project will result in incidental take of 1,299 western Joshua trees (Yucca brevifola), which are protected under the WJTCA and the California Endangered Species Act. The WJTCA ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of western Joshua tree that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
