Document Description
The proposed project would involve the modification of an existing telecommunication facility by Sprint PCS Assets LLC (Applicant), in the city of Chula Vista, California. Work to specifically complete the proposed project would involve upgrades to the technology on the existing telecommunications facility on the roof and facade of the existing structure within the leasehold at 997 G Street. The upgrades would include removing older equipment and replacing it with new equipment to provide better wireless service. The project entails removal of the existing antennas and installation of new panel antennas, a radio cabinet, and a fiber junction box. The project would not involve alterations to the silhouette, footprint, or height of the existing structure. Construction of the proposed project is anticipated to occur mid-2019 and would
take approximately one month to complete.
