Reasons for Exemption
There will be no increase in the number of vehicular through lanes. Repairs made to the pavement will extend the life of the roadway and increase safety. New bike facilities will be installed along the north and south. Construction will occur in compliance with Caltrans regulations, related to lead and asbestos which might be present in paint, pavement, or soil.
