Document Description
The project is limited to 2 encroachments. Both encroachments are for installation of a sewer line. The work at the first crossing installs the sewer line within the stream bank supported onto concrete pedestals and suspended across Jameson Creek. The second crossing is to place a sewer line under a wetland located East of the Grocery Outlet located at 1085 S Fortuna Blvd, Fortuna, CA 95540. Work for the first encroachment will include trenching through the bank, excavation, cement pouring, and rocking the interior side of the bank. The work for the second encroachment includes horizontal directional drilling within two open pits 16’ deep, benched back to ground level to be approximately 40’ x 40’. Pits will be back filled with same natural fill materials and revegetated with natives.
